The Last Kiss is a bilingual collection of poetry by Iranian–Norwegian author Mehdi Mousavi, whose work has been banned and censored in Iran. Written in Farsi and English, the book explores exile, imprisonment, and the struggle to preserve identity and love under repression. Through stark honesty and lyrical intensity, Mousavi transforms personal trauma into a powerful testimony of resistance and survival — a voice for those silenced by fear and censorship.
