Sekoly Kintana means “Star School.” Kintana can also suggest something that shines or stands out. So the name carries both meanings: a school named after a star, and a place where children are meant to shine.

Soroptimist means “best for women” and that’s what we strive to be – an organization of women at their best helping other women and girls to be their best.

We are a volunteer-run 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization that helps to enable individuals with disabilities.

Since its creation in 2017 under the initial umbrella of the Salvation Army, the Dallas Brass Band has quickly grown into a leading brass ensemble in the United States. Our mission is to provide inspiring music and education to North Texas while giving our musicians, students, and audiences an opportunity to experience the excitement of a traditional British brass band setting.
