Liminal is a theatre, performance, and media ensemble based in Portland, Oregon. We have created numerous original productions and events that are live, immersive, and theatrical. Our work is largely devised, but we also produce revivals of seminal works from the avant-garde tradition of 20th century theatre and experimental performance — from the plays of Samuel Beckett and Gertrude Stein, to happenings, Fluxconcerts, and live music from minimalist and post-minimalist genres.
